About 150 Kapiʻolani CC students, faculty and staff welcomed and met with President Wendy Hensel.
Throughout her visit, Hensel highlighted her commitment to fostering connections and understanding the unique characteristics of each campus.
The search for a new athletic director is set to begin immediately, with the goal of having a new leader in place by the end of summer, or possibly earlier.
President Hensel reflected on her visit to the UH West Oʻahu campus, which marked the beginning of her tour of UH campuses and education centers.
UH President Wendy Hensel will tour the 10-campus UH system and education centers throughout her first 90 days on the job.
“Let’s make 2025 a year of even greater success, for the people and places of Hawaiʻi.”
New UH President Wendy Hensel will visit each of the 10 UH campuses and six of the university system’s nine education centers during her first 90 days in office.
Instead of navigating pay stations, all UH Mānoa visitors will need is a smartphone and the JustPark app.
Together all of us—students, faculty, staff and community members—have the opportunity to continue to shape UH as a strong 10-campus system that fulfills its kuleana to Native Hawaiians and Hawaiʻi.
“As a new member of this ʻohana, I look forward to getting to know each and every member of our community, building pilina and learning about what is important to you.”
