Two sophomore standouts and a senior-laden baseball team took the top honors at the 15th annual University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo All-Sports Banquet on May 5.
Tennis star Alessandro Giuliato and record-breaking basketball player Allie Navarette won the Vulcan Male and Female Athletes of the Year, respectively. The UH Hilo baseball team was honored as the 2018–19 Vulcan Team of the Year.
The senior class was honored and a Pono Vulcan from each sport was selected by his or her teammates.
