Two happy U H Mānoa students

Join the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa community for Welina Mānoa, a free kick-off event to mark the start of the new school year, on Monday, August 21, 3:30–6 p.m. Enjoy great food, live music featuring the Tuahine Serenaders, KTUH DJ Mermaid, UH Mānoa pep band and cheerleaders and activities.

Wear green and white to show your school spirit and enter to win an iPad Air2, Beats Solo2 headphones and Oakley sunglasses. There will be special prizes for new students.

The entire campus community is invited to join in the fun at Campus Center, Kuykendall Lawn and Legacy Path to welcome the new students to the UH Mānoa ʻohana. There will also be a one-stop shop resource fair highlighting more than 85 student groups, student services and campus departments.

Special guests include Rainbow Warriors Head Football Coach Nick Rolovich and UH Mānoa graduate and Hawaiʻi News Now traffic reporter Lacy Deniz.
