University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball player Finn Kearney was named the Big West Freshman of the Week after his standout performance in the team’s series split of top-ranked Long Beach State.
The Phoenix, Arizona native earned his first career Freshman of the Week award after making his second and third starts of the season. Kearney led the team in kills in both matches, tallying career-highs of 17 kills a piece.
This also marks the sixth Freshman of the Week award for UH this season, with Kristian Titriyski claiming four of them and Adrien Roure earning one.
