University of Hawaiʻi Hilo softball senior Chloe Sales was selected as the Pacific West Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week after tossing 12 scoreless innings in two complete-game shutouts with a no-hitter against Vanguard.
Sales got the start in game 2 and game 3 of the three-game series with the Lions and went the distance both times without allowing a run to help the Vulcans claim victories in both contests.
Sales is currently ranked No. 7 in the PacWest conference play with a 2.19 ERA and ranks second in the league with four shutouts. She also sits at No. 5 with a .214 opposing batting average and boasts a 5-3 record, including five complete games, through conference contests.
