The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa women’s basketball team will continue its season and will face UNLV in the first round of the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament on March 20 in Las Vegas.
UH (22-9) earned an automatic berth as the Big West regular-season champion. The game will be played at UNLV‘s Cox Pavilion.
This marks UH‘s fourth consecutive postseason appearance and 20th overall. They reached the WBIT after going 16-4 in Big West play. UH is 6-21 in postseason history and last won a postseason game in 2001.
The first three rounds of the WBIT will be played at campus sites, with the semifinals and finals at Butler University in Indianapolis. Games will be streamed on ESPN+ with later rounds on ESPNU and ESPN2.
