For the first time in program history, the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo men’s soccer team has landed in the top 25 at No. 21 in the latest United Soccer Coaches Top 25 National Rankings on September 17.
The Vulcans started the season strong with a three-game win streak, defeating Cal State Dominguez Hills, Chaminade and HawaiʻiPacific University.
For the Week 2 poll, the Vulcans were the only team from the Pacific West Conference ranked in the top 25.
UH Hilo also moved up to No. 3 in the United Soccer Coaches West Region Rankings, a week after moving up five spots from its preseason ranking of No. 10.
