Meet Valerie Kan, digital marketing manager at Disney+ and graduate of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Shidler College of Business.

Kan, who has worked on TV hit shows such as Shogun, The Kardashians, Only Murders in the Building and Welcome to Wrexham, shared the impact that UH had on her career path.
“During my time at school we were required to do two 400-hour internships, and I really feel like that prepared me and gave me the experience I needed for post-grad while I was applying to jobs,” she says. “I feel like I got a head start at UH.”
