Nine members of the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa swimming and diving teams earned recognition on the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America’s (CSCAA) Scholar-America Team for the 2023–24 season.

The Rainbow Wahine placed five swimmers and divers on the NCAA Division I women’s second team and four Rainbow Warriors made the men’s second team.

Rainbow Wahine honorees:

  • Mandolin Nguyen
  • Zofia Tyminska

Rainbow Warriors honorees:

  • Juan Gonzalez
  • Justin Lisoway
  • Mackaby Pennington
  • Mario Surkovic

To qualify for the CSCAA Scholar All-America first team, student-athletes must have a earned a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher and participated in their national championship. Second-team selections also must have a 3.5 GPA and met the “B” time standard for the national championship or qualified for the zone qualification meet.
