Past and present University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo performers grace the stage to pay tribute to and benefit the university’s performing arts program. Legacies: Hoʻomau takes place on Saturday, September 14, 7:30 p.m. at the Hilo Performing Arts Center

“It is a way of not only paying tribute and honoring all of the gifted artists that came before, but hopefully it will also inspire the young up and coming talent to go forth and embrace their talents and pursue their dreams,” said Lee Dombroski, Performing Arts Center manager.

The evening features live music by an eight-piece band under the direction of Trever Veilleux. There will be singing and dance performances from UH Hilo faculty, students and alumni, as well as short comedic film offerings.

To add to the excitement, surprise gift boxes will be available for $10. Surprises may include a handcrafted koa bowl, UH Hilo Performing Arts Center season ticket packages, Fall Quatro ticket packages, tickets to UH Hilo Performing Arts Center events, and more.
