The University of Hawaiʻi football team will host its annual Homecoming Game on October 28 against San José State at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex, sponsored by OUTRIGGER Resorts and Hotels.
This year fans are encouraged to wear their favorite retro fan gear to the game in support of all former Rainbow Warriors who represented the state and program in years past. The Letterwinners Club will also welcome members of the 1973 Rainbow Warrior football team to be honored and recognized as they celebrate their 50th anniversary. All UH football alumni are welcome to join the team for the pregame tunnel run at the ʻEwa Endzone.
Hawaiʻi’s Finest presents the “Kickoff at the Les” where there will be a DJ, beer garden, concessions and many other activities for fans to enjoy before the game. Parking will be available from 2 p.m. and the doors will open at 3 p.m. for the pregame activities.
Students will need to enter from the new entrance located at the left field bullpen gate and will be scanned in for free using their QR code on the H Rewards App.
The Rainbow Warriors will be defending their five-year homecoming victory streak against the Spartans. Kickoff will be at 6 p.m. followed by a halftime show with opportunities for fans to win prizes.
