Windward Community College faculty and staff, along with the WCC Ambassadors, provided holiday food baskets for students in need this Christmas.

The group aimed to deliver 12 “baskets of holiday kindness,” but exceeded its goal with a total of 19. Each basket contained a full holiday meal to feed 8 to 10 people, with some leftovers. Chef Dan Swift and his team from Uala Leaf Cafe put all the meals together.

“I just want to thank everyone for your support over the course of this crazy year and for supporting the students with these holiday meal baskets,” said Swift. “Each family was so thankful and appreciative of the kindness of the WCC ʻohana.”
