Rainbow Warrior football players honored for academic excellence

Fifteen University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa football student-athletes were recognized by the Mountain West as academic all-conference.

Among those recognized was three-year honoree Kaimana Padello, a senior and sociology major. Several others were two-time recipients—Khoury Bethley, Stan Gaudion, Hekili Keliiliki, Ilm Manning, Makai Manuwai, Kanaʻi Picanco and Taaga Tuulima.

To be eligible for selection, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic term at the member institution while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher, and be a starter or significant contributor on their athletic team.
