University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball players Louis Sakanoko and Tread Rosenthal were honored by the Big West for their performances in a two-match series sweep of UC San Diego.
Sakanoko received his first career award as Offensive Player of the Week, and Rosenthal was Setter of the Week for the fifth time this season.
A UH player has earned offensive player of the week four times this season. Sakanoko joins Kristian Titriyski and Adrien Roure who were previously honored. Last season, Sakanoko earned Freshman of the Week honors four times.
Rosenthal’s five setter of the week awards is the most of any Big West setter this season.
