University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo men’s tennis player Jaime Paquet was named PacWest Conference Player of the Week after posting a 3-0 singles record.
Paquet has posted a 6-2 record this season, including four consecutive wins against No. 27 Colorado Mesa (twice), Point Loma, and No. 36 Concordia. During a recent Southern California trip, he defeated Concordia’s Spencer Cinco (6-7, 6-4, 6-1) and Point Loma’s Niclas Goltz (6-1, 7-6).
Paquet also won back-to-back matches against Colorado Mesa and is 3-1 in three-set matches this season.
