University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa swimmer Karol Ostrowski is the lone male swimmer from The Big West to qualify in the upcoming NCAA Division I Championships. Ostrowski will compete in the 50m freestyle on March 27, in Washington State.

This marks his second consecutive NCAA appearance. Last year, he set a UH school record with an 18.89 in the 50m freestyle, contributing to a record-breaking 200m freestyle relay time of 1:16:23. Ostrowski qualified for the 2025 NCAA Championships after breaking the UH 50m freestyle record with a time of 18.99 at the SMU Invitational, earning Big West Athlete of the Week honors.

The senior earned seven All-Big West awards, with honors in multiple events, and won four gold medals at the 2025 Big West Championships. Ostrowski helped break four UH and Big West records, including in the 200m medley relay, 200m freestyle relay, 100m freestyle, and 400m freestyle relay.
