Addison Korencich on the field

For the first time in her career, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa softball pitcher Addison Kostrencich has been named Big West Pitcher of the Week after posting a 2-1 record, including a complete-game shutout.

Kostrencich recorded a team-low 2.17 ERA over 19.1 innings, highlighted by a shutout win over Nevada in the Mary Nutter Collegiate Classic.

The pitcher leads UH with a 2.35 ERA, a 5-3 record and five complete games. She ranks second in The Big West in 47.5 innings pitched and third with five wins.

UH holds a 10-6 overall record in 2025. Kostrencich is the first UH pitcher to receive the award since 2023.
