University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa senior Jordan Wedderburn was named Big West women’s water polo Player of the Week on February 5 after delivering a career-best performance.

Wedderburn scored a career-high seven goals in an overtime win over UC Irvine on February 1, highlighting a 15-goal weekend in the Triton Invitational in La Jolla, California, and won the Big West award for the second time in her UH career.

The senior opened the weekend with four goals on five shots in UH’s 19-4 win over Cal State Fullerton. Wedderburn got a hat trick against Fresno State, helping UH come back from a 6-2 halftime deficit to win 11-10 in overtime. In the third-place match, Wedderburn scored seven goals—the most by a UH player since 2023—leading UH to an 18-17 win over UC Irvine.

Wedderburn made 60% of her shots in the tournament and ranks second on the team with 22 goals. She reached 100 career goals in UH’s win over Arizona State and now has 115.
