Kristian Titriyski and Kurt Nusterer, Big West Player of the Week graphic

University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball opposite Kristian Titriyski was named the Big West Freshman of the Week, and middle blocker Kurt Nusterer was named Defensive Player of the Week.

The duo helped the Rainbow Warriors sweep the BYU Cougars in Provo, Utah for the first time in program history. UH entered the week 4-29 all-time in Provo but have now won three straight since 2019.

This is the second time this season that UH was honored by the Big West. For Nusterer, it marks his second career defensive player of the week award.
