University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s tennis player Azuma Visaya has earned his second-straight Big West Player of the Week award after winning a pair of No. 1 singles matches in two dual matches against Arkansas.
Visaya, ranked No. 77, won both matches in third-set super tie-breakers. In the first match, he came back from a set down to beat Bozo Barun, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (11-9). In the second, he defeated Lukas Palovic after losing the first set, winning 2-6, 7-6 (8-6), 1-0 (10-7).
