Two University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Rainbow Wahine water polo athletes, senior attacker Bernadette Doyle and sophomore goalkeeper Daisy Logtens, were voted to the All-Big West Preseason Coaches’ Team, with UH ranked second in the preseason poll.

Doyle returns after a place on the All-Big West first team and second-team All-America honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches (ACWPC). Doyle was also named the Most Valuable Player of the Big West Championship after posting nine goals and eight steals to help capture the title. She finished the season with 46 goals last season and a Big West-leading 49 steals.

Logtens was named to the All-Big West first team and the ACWPC All-America third team last season. She led the Big West in a .599 save percentage and goals against a 7.42 average and finished second in the Big West in 8.2 saves per game. She was also voted to the Big West All-Freshman Team and was the lone freshman on the all-conference first team.

UH went 23-4 overall in 2024 and finished 7-0 in Big West play to capture the regular-season championship. The ‘Bows then swept through the Big West Championship to earn the conference’s automatic bid to the National Collegiate Women’s Water Polo Championship. UH ended the season in the national semifinals and finished at No. 3 in the ACWPC and Collegiate Water Polo Association polls, the highest final ranking in program history.
