The Rainbow Wahine received 194 points in the poll of 31 NCAA Division I coaches released on October 29. UH is the lone Big West team in the top 25.
The ‘Bows were ranked 22nd in last year’s preseason Mid Major poll and closed the regular season just outside the top 25 after capturing the Big West regular-season championship with a 17-3 conference record.
The Rainbow Wahine head to Maui for an exhibition with Chaminade set for November 2. UH opens the regular season with a road trip to the Pacific Northwest and plays at Portland on November 7, and at Portland State on November 9. The ‘Bows make their home debut on November 22, against Louisiana Monroe in the Bank of Hawaiʻi Classic.
