University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa midfielder Nalani Damacion has earned her fourth Big West Freshman of the Week honors following her game-winning goal against UC Riverside on October 20.

Damacion scored the game-winner in the 86th minute of a 2–1 victory over UC Riverside, to put the Rainbow Wahine in the lead. The goal marked her team-leading sixth of the season, all of which have been game winners.

The midfielder is tied for second nationally and first among all freshmen in game-winning goals. Damacion has also moved into second in single-season school history in game-winning goals. She is also tied for seventh in career game-winning goals at UH.

Damacion is tied for first among Big West freshmen in overall goals, and is tied for third among all players in the league. Damacion is the first player ever to claim Big West Freshman of the Week honors four times in a single season. She is also the first UH player to win a weekly award four times since ‘Bows joined Big West in 2012.
