Kennedy Justin, Big West Player of the Week graphic

University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa goalkeeper Kennedy Justin earned Big West Defensive Player of the Week honors on October 7, after posting a pair of shutouts in this week’s wins. This is her first conference weekly award.

Justin recorded clean sheets in the Rainbow Wahine’s 1-0 wins at CSUN and vs. Cal State Fullerton and has put together three straight shutouts. She is the first UH goalkeeper since 2019 to post three consecutive shutouts.

She recorded a pair of saves and faced just eight shot attempts in the October 6 win over the Titans while facing nine shots without having to record a save in the October 3 victory at CSUN. Justin helped organize a defense that held opponents to fewer than 10 shots in four straight matches and 32 total attempts during that span.

Justin allowed just one goal in four conference matches and currently sits third in the Big West in goals against average at 1.261.
