Former University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa women’s volleyball player Amber Igiede will compete for the United States in the Women’s North, Central America and Caribbean Volleyball Confederation (NORCECA) Pan American Cup, set for August 18–25 in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Igiede is one of four middle blockers on the U.S. roster announced by USA Volleyball for the Women’s Pan American Cup. The event serves as a qualifier to the 2025 Women’s Pan American Cup, the 2025 NORCECA Women’s Continental Championship and the 2027 Pan American Games.

As a senior, she led the Big West with a .396 hitting percentage, 3.72 kills per set and 435 total kills. She also ranked second in the nation among middle blockers in total points (540.0) and points per set (4.62). Igiede was the 2022 Big West Player of the Year and was named Most Valuable Player of the inaugural Big West Championship last season.
