The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa placed seven football players on Phil Steele’s Preseason All-Mountain West/PAC-2 team.

Wide receiver Pofele Ashlock, offensive lineman Luke Felix-Fualalo and linebacker Jalen Smith were selected to the second team; defensive lineman Ezra Evaimalo and cornerback Cam Stone were picked to the third team; and quarterback Brayden Schager and offensive lineman Sergio Muasau were named to the fourth team. Stone was also mentioned on the fourth team as a kick returner.

Ashlock was named an Football Writers Association of America Freshman All-American last season after leading all FBS freshmen in receptions (83) and receiving yards (832). Felix-Fualalo graded as the No. 3 tackle in the Mountain West last season according to Pro Football Focus while Smith started the final eight games of the season and finished third on the team in tackles (67) along with a team-leading nine tackles-for-loss.

Evaimalo was rated as the No. 2 interior defensive lineman by Pro Football Focus, and Stone is a three-time honorable mention all-Mountain West selection—twice at Wyoming and in his first season at UH in 2023. Stone also served as the team’s primary kickoff returner last season and averaged 20.7 yards on 16 returns.

Schager led the Mountain West in passing yards (3,542) and touchdowns (26) in his first season in the Run-and-Shoot offense and Muasau started all 13 games at left guard.
