University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo baseball players James Yamasaki, Mason Cook and Arthur Soto earned College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team honors.
The CSC Academic All-America/District program recognizes the nation’s top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom, requiring a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher (sophomore standing and above) and participation in at least 90% of games played during the season (or 66% as a starter). For baseball, pitchers are eligible with a minimum 17 appearances or 25 total innings pitched.
