The University of Hawaiʻi Hilo softball team secured a spot in the four-team Pacific West Conference Championship postseason tournament after sweeping Chaminade University, 3-2 and 4-0, on April 21.
The Vulcans will join Concordia University Irvine and Azusa Pacific. The remaining playoff berth will be a three-way battle between Biola University, Dominican and Chaminade with just a handful of games to go.
