University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa women’s beach volleyball players Anna Maidment and Sydney Miller have been named the Big West Pairs Team of the Week after an undefeated weekend at the Texas Christian University (TCU) Invitational. This is the second weekly honor for the UH Mānoa pair this season and the first this year for the duo.
Senior Maidment and sophomore Miller went 4-0 while competing against Houston Christian University and host TCU. Two of the four wins came against the No. Mānoa 4 and No. 5 pairs of TCU to help UH nearly topple the fifth-ranked team.
Maidment and Miller have now won nine of their last 11 matches and have a team-best of 17-5 (.775) of the season.
