Five athletes of the University of Hawaiʻi men’s swimming and diving team will represent the Rainbow Warriors at this week’s NCAA Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.
UH‘s 200-yard freestyle relay team of Karol Ostrowski, Jakub Ksiazek, Jordan Meacham and Grant Stoddard and diver Mackaby Pennington qualified for the NCAA Division I men’s swimming and diving championships hosted by Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.
The team of Ostrowski, Ksiazek, Meacham and Stoddard earned their trip to Indianapolis with a record-breaking performance of 1 minute, 16.75 seconds at the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Championships on February 22 in St. George, Utah.
Pennington will make his NCAA Championship debut after earning a spot in the men’s platform diving field with a score of 642.90 at the NCAA Zone E Championships in Flagstaff, Arizona.
