U H softball player Borges with Player of the Week graphic

University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa junior centerfielder/pitcher Chloe Borges led UH with a .625 batting average while recording at least one hit, one run and an RBI in all three games and she earned her first save of the season shutting down the rally against CSUN to earn Big West Field Player of the Week honors on March 25. This is the first weekly conference honor of Borges’ career.

Overall, Borges went 5-for-8 at the plate and drove in a team-high six RBI to help lift UH Mānoa to its first conference series sweep since 2022. She recorded a 1.375 slugging percentage and a .625 on-base percentage for the weekend.

Borges went 2-for-3 and knocked home a 2-RBI single as the Rainbow Wahine took the first contest over the Matadors, 11-2. Borges blasted a solo home run in game two as well.
