University of Hawaiʻi Hilo women’s golf player Tia Kualiʻi earned her PacWest Golfer of the Week award after landing in second place during the Augustana Spring Fling at Palm Desert’s Desert Will Golf Conference.
Kualiʻi shot consistent rounds of 77 and 76 and helped lead her team to a second-place finish as well making this the best tournament finish in her five-year career as a Vulcan. Kualiʻi battled through both rounds with six bogeys on each 18, but also three birdies the first day and four birdies the second.
