University of Hawaiʻi Hilo women’s and men’s golf teams each took PacWest Team of the Week after impressive performances at their golf tournaments.
The women’s team finished second in a field of nine teams at the Augustana Spring Fling in Palm Desert, California. Golfers Tia Kualiʻi finished second and UH Hilo had two other top 10 golfers—Elle Otani in fourth and Kiersten Saludares in 10th.
The men’s team topped five other Pacific West Conference competitors at the Tim Tierney Pioneer Shootout in Alameda finishing at +3. UH Hilo’s top four golfers were Dylan Bercan, Jacob Torres, Dysen Park, and Nicholas Gomez.
