President David Lassner provided an update on the issues around the new Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form, UH’s role in the Festival of Pacific Arts and Culture and the university’s role in the state broadband initiative in his President’s Report to the Board of Regents (BOR) at the March 21 BOR monthly meeting at UH Mānoa.

Lassner also discussed some of the findings in the Hawaiʻi College and Career Readiness Indicators Report, including ongoing concerns with the college-going rate of Hawaiʻi high school graduates.
