University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Athletics has announced the 40th class of the UH Sports Circle of Honor which includes June Jones (football), the 2010 softball team, James “Jim” Kalili (football), Ann Miller (journalist) and Cindy Luis (journalist).

Jones is the eighth football coach enshrined while Kalili is the 36th football player. The softball team is the 13th overall team to be inducted and first women’s team other than women’s volleyball’s four teams. Miller and Luis are just the seventh and eighth media members, respectively, and first two print reporters honored.

The official enshrinement of the class of 2024 will happen at the Green & White Celebration scheduled for Sunday, May 5 at The Royal Hawaiian Resort. For more information and table sales, visit this website.

The Circle of Honor was established in 1982 to recognize individuals and teams who have contributed to the growth, history and tradition of UH Athletics. The total number of inductees in the Circle of Honor is now 136 individuals and 13 teams, including this year’s honorees. Plaques honoring the individuals and teams are anchored on the inner walls surrounding the main concourse of SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.
