University of Hawaiʻi goalkeeper Daisy Logtens was named the Big West Women’s Water Polo Player of the Week on February 28, after helping lead the second-ranked Rainbow Wahine to a runner-up finish in the Barbara Kalbus Invitational last weekend in Irvine, California.

Logtens opened the Barbara Kalbus Invitational by posting five saves with a .833 save percentage while surrendering just one goal in a half of play in UH‘s 18-4 win over Pomona-Pitzer on February 23.

She recorded 37 saves over four tournament matches to help UH finish 3-1 and post its highest finish in 17 appearances in the event. She is the fourth Rainbow Wahine to earn the Big West Player of the Week award this season.

Logtens ranks third in the Big West with 106 saves and leads the conference with a .596 save percentage.
