For the fourth time this season, University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa setter Tread Rosenthal was named the Big West’s Freshman of the Week after leading the Rainbow Warriors to a two-match sweep of Missouri S&T last week. His four freshman awards this season is the most in a single-season in program history.

Rosenthal averaged 10.75 assists per set in just four sets of action in the two matches. He also recorded three aces, four digs (1.00 d/s), and five blocks (1.25 b/s).

Rosenthal currently ranks first in the Big West and No. 9 nationally in aces per set (0.538) and second in the conference and No. 9 nationally in assists per set (10.10). As a team, UH ranks No. 1 nationally in hitting percentage (.413).
