Teani Arakawa on the field

University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo women’s soccer junior forward Teani Arakawa doubled up on All-American status with the addition of 2023 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-America First Team honors as announced on December 15.

Arakawa, a business administration — finance major, achieved a 3.76 cumulative GPA.

She was announced as a United Soccer Coaches Division II Third Team All-American after already landing Division 2 Conference Commissioners Association (D2 CCA) All-West Region Player of the Year, CCA All-West Region First Team, United Soccer Coaches All-West Region First Team, PacWest Conference Player of the Year and All-PacWest First Team accolades.

Arakawa finished 2023 with 27 points on ten goals and seven assists to help the Vulcans to a 10-2-3 record while placing inside the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 Poll throughout the season.
