Sun setting beyond clouds as seen from Maunakea

This week’s UH News Image of the Week is from the UH Hilo’s Jotis Russell-Christian, an undergraduate in astronomy.

Russell-Christian shared, “The picture depicts a sunset from Mauna Kea during a field trip with Kāwili Kine Culture, a part of The Center for Global Education & Exchange at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo. The sun set was incredible from the tallest mountain in the world!”
