University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo shortstop Casey Yamauchi was named to the 2023 American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings NCAA Division II West All-Region Second Team. The fifth-year Hilo native was one of seven infielders to earn recognition as part of the 19-player second team.
Led by the ABCA NCAA Division II All-America Committee, the eight All-Region Teams were voted on by ABCA members.
Yamauchi was also previously named as a National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association All-West Region Honorable Mention, in addition to earning All-PacWest Second Team honors.
