University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa beach volleyball players Kaylee Glagau and Brooke Van Sickle earned Big West Pairs Team of the Week recognition after an undefeated run in the Big West Challenge, held March 25–26 in San Luis Obispo, California.

This is the second time this season that the UH pair has won the award—they were previously honored on March 13. It also marks Glagau and Van Sickle’s sixth overall Big West weekly recognition.

The All-American duo dominated conference foes, going a perfect 6-0 at the top of the order at the Big West Challenge. They won four out of six matches in straight sets, including the clinching point in the Rainbow Wahine’s 3-2 win over No. 12 Long Beach State University. The win secured an unblemished weekend for UH at the two-day, round-robin competition and extended the team’s win streak to 18 straight matches.

Glagau and Van Sickle are a phenomenal 19-1 this season and have defeated 16 straight opponents for the fifth-longest win streak in program history.

The No. 8 Rainbow Wahine (20-3) remain on the road with five more matches this week, beginning with a showdown against No. 3 University of California, Los Angeles on March 29.
