Big West Players of the Week graphic

Dimitrios Mouchlias and Guilherme Voss of the No. 1 ranked University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball team earned Big West weekly awards following the Rainbow Warriors’ two-match series sweep against No. 8 Stanford University.

Mouchlias, a junior opposite, was named Player of the Week for the third time in his career. Mouchlias led UH in kills in both matches against Stanford, with 29 total kills—12 in the opener and 17 in the rematch. He averaged 4.83 kills per set for the series and hit .462. He also tallied nine blocks and six digs.

Voss, a junior middle blocker, earned Defensive Player of the Week recognition—his fourth defensive honor. He averaged 1.67 blocks per set in the series against Stanford with 10 total blocks (five in each match), and helped the Rainbow Warriors record a season-high 12.5 blocks in their match on February 11. Offensively, Voss had 11 kills in 17 errorless attempts, hitting .647 along with two aces.

UH begins a five-week homestand, starting with a pair of matches against Concordia University Irvine on February 16 and 17.
