After becoming the program’s new all-time leading scorer, University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo women’s basketball player Mandi Kawaha was named PacWest Player of the Week.

Kawaha put up big numbers all across the stat sheet last week and during her 30-point game against Holy Names University she scored the basket that would put her on top as the all-time leaderboard for the Vulcans. She has 1,420 points in her career, surpassing previous leader Allie Navarette.

Kawaha is also second in the conference in assists per game (4.0), third in free throw percentage (.831) and eighth in treys per game (1.7).
