The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa women’s volleyball team is headed to Stanford for the 2022 Division I Women’s Volleyball Championship Tournament’s first and second rounds. For the third-straight season, the Rainbow Wahine earned the Big West’s automatic bid into the tournament after capturing the Big West title on November 25.
UH (22-6 overall, 19-1 Big West) will open play against Louisiana State University (15-13 overall, 9-9 SEC) on December 2, 2:30 p.m. at Stanford’s Maples Pavilion.
This is UH’s 29th consecutive and 40th overall appearance in the NCAA tournament.
The Rainbow Wahine received their automatic bid after winning their 11th overall and seventh Big West title since rejoining the league in 2012. UH head coach Robyn Ah Mow has led the team to its last five straight NCAA tournaments.
