University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo men’s golfer Keith Ng finished in a tie for fifth place shooting a one-under par 139 at the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate, a two-day tournament held October 28–29 at the Waikoloa Beach Resort. Following the tournament, which marked Ng’s second consecutive top 10 finish, he was also named PacWest Player of the Week for October 24–30.

As a team, UH Hilo concluded its fall season with a No. 10 finish at the tournament. The Vulcans ended round one in a tie for second after a 283 score—just two shots behind the leader—before shooting 298 to fall to No. 10 on day two.

Dustin Franko finished with a one-under par 69 to place in the top 10 on day one, but posted a four-over par second day to slide down to a tie for No. 19.

Playing as an individual, Ethan Hironaga moved up the leaderboard between day one and two with a five-shot improvement.

UH Hilo will return for its spring season at the Amer Ari Intercollegiate in February 2023, which will be held at the Hāpuna Golf Course in Waimea, Hawaiʻi.
