Calling all UH students, staff, faculty, alumni and supporters! Leading up to the homecoming football game against Duquesne on September 17, the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is hosting a variety of homecoming week events and promotions to help fans get in the homecoming spirit.

Games this week

On Thursday, September 15, UH women’s soccer will play against UC Davis at 7 p.m. at Waipiʻo Peninsula Soccer Stadium. Admission is free for all students. Students must download the SuperFan loyalty app to access their personalized QR code for entry—physical student ID’s will not be accepted at the game. Additionally, students with vouchers (informed on Tuesday night via email) will receive free transportation to the game, and more.

Later in the week, the Rainbow Warrior football team will go against Duquesne in their homecoming game on Saturday, September 17. Kick-off is 6 p.m. at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex. Game sponsor Hawaiian Telcom will be distributing 2,000 light up pom-pom’s and $175 in gift cards during the game. Student ticket raffle entry will open on Tuesday, September 13 at noon on the SuperFan loyalty app.

Homecoming Makers’ Market

Fans can shop a variety of alumni-owned small businesses at the homecoming-themed UH Alumni Makers’ Market on Friday, September 16, 6–9 p.m. at SALT Kakaʻako.

Access to the Makers’ Marketplace is free and open to the public. $50 VIP tickets are also available for purchase, which will include:

  • Food curated by UH alumnus chef, Reid Matsuura, of Redfish Poke Bar
  • Drinks by Village Bottle Shop & Tasting Room, owned by UH alumni Tim Golden and Daryn Ogino
  • Access into the enclosed VIP area in the heart of the Makers’ Marketplace

UH students can enter a raffle on Wednesday, September 14 at noon for a chance to win free dinner and transportation to and from the event.

UH Bookstore homecoming sale

To celebrate homecoming week, the UH Mānoa bookstore is offering 20% off one regular-priced UH apparel or spirit item. The promotion runs September 12–16, and is available in-store and online (use the code “HOME22” at checkout).

Students: check in on the SuperFan loyalty app

Students can earn points at this week’s events by checking in on the SuperFan loyalty app:

  • 200 points for checking in at women’s soccer on September 15
  • 150 points for checking in at the Alumni Makers’ Market on September 16
  • 100 points for checking in at football on September 17

Points can be accumulated and redeemed for prizes such as Apple products, Beats headphones, gift cards and more. Students can download the SuperFan app for free on the App Store or Google Play.
