men's volleyball team celebrating

The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa men’s volleyball team will unveil its 2021 NCAA Championship banner on Wednesday, January 5, at its season-opener against Loyola-Chicago at SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center.

The first 5,000 fans will receive a commemorative team photo while the first 2,500 will also receive a rally towel, which is designed after the national championship banner. In addition, the championship trophy will be on display on the concourse near Gate A for photo opportunities. UH’s All-American Colton Cowell will be in attendance.

The banner unveiling will occur prior to the start of the match. The program’s first official national championship banner will hang in the rafters along with four women’s volleyball national championship banners. The Rainbow Warriors captured the title with a straight set win over BYU last May.

The Rainbow Warriors begin the season as the AVCA (American Volleyball Coaches Association) preseason poll’s top team. Head coach Charlie Wade leads the team in his 13th season.

Individual match tickets may be purchased at etickethawaii.com or at the SimpliFi Arena at Stan Sheriff Center Box Office (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m.).

(Check game attendance requirements.)
