High scoring forward Tokunaga continued to make her mark for a Vulcan team that is chasing a conference title and postseason berth. Tokunaga assisted Christina Kanellou with the winning goal during a 1-0 victory over Concordia University Irvine, and scored UH Hilo’s opening goal in a 2-0 triumph over Biola University. Tokunaga leads the PacWest in goals with 11 and in total points with 25.

Senior defender Tolentino-Perry had standout performances against Concordia and Biola. He had an assist in the first five minutes of UH Hilo’s 2-1 win over Concordia and led the Vulcan defense during a stretch where they only gave up three goals. “Kalei’s presence on the field is always felt,” said coach Paul Regrutto. “He is always a huge factor for us every time he steps onto the field.”
