A new loanable technology collection is now available at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa Hamilton Library. Open to all UH students and faculty, the collection is designed to empower users to become more active creators of material.

Items in the collection include:

  • Headphones with microphones
  • Calculators
  • Lights
  • Green screens
  • Clip-on and high fidelity microphones
  • USB microscopes
  • GoPro cameras
  • Raspberry Pi 4
  • Cables, chargers, adaptors

“Whether our patrons are creating podcasts or videos, interviewing people in their community or putting together a class presentation, we are hoping that the loanable technology collection will encourage students and faculty to experiment with technology that they haven’t used before, or may not have access to, as they expand their technical skills and engage more fully in scholarly conversations,” said Brian Richardson, instructional design librarian.
