$3 million in federal aid will be available to University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa students who are registered for the spring 2021 semester. The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act money can be used to pay for tuition and other college-related expenses.

Applications will open between January 11 and January 31, and those who are awarded funding are expected to be issued their money in mid to late February. The link to the application will be emailed to all students in early January.

All students are encouraged to apply, and the online application is expected to take less than five minutes to complete. Preference will be given to those who are utilizing their federal financial aid.
